Broadway heavy hitters Alan Menken &
Lynn Ahrens breathe fantastic new life into
the classic tale of a Christmas Carol. Ebenezer
Scrooge is a prosperous curmudgeon who believes
personal wealth is far more valuable than the
happiness and comfort of others.   With an
infuriated "Bah! Humbug!" Scrooge sums up his
feelings absent Christmas tidings and charitable
giving, but he's forced to face his selfish ways
when 3 ghosts on Christmas Eve lead him through
his Past, Present and Future.  Thanks to their
guidance, Scrooge recognizes his faults and greets
Christmas morning with a cheerful "Happy Christmas"
before spending the day reconnecting and sharing
love with those who mean the most to him.

Performance dates are:  December 4, 5, 6, and
again on December 10, 11, 12, & 13.
Evening performances are 7:30pm and Sundays
at 2pm.

The final stage performance for the 56th
Season of Spencer Community Theatre will be
Something's Afoot by James McDonald,
David Vos, and Robert Gerlach.
This is a zany entertaining musical that takes
a satirical poke at Agatha Christie mysteries
with a specific nod to her Ten Little Indians.
Ten people are stranded in an isolated English
country house during a raging thunderstorm.
One by one they're picked off by cleverly
fiendish devices.  As the bodies pile up in
the library, the survivors frantically race to
uncover the identity and motivation of the
cunning culprit.

SPARC (Spencer Performing Arts Coalition)
is proud to present "Danika Portz"
Danika is creating a buzz in Music City.
Orginally from Remsen, Iowa, Danika has
been performing since the age of 6.  Since
moving to Nashville, Danika's distinctive
style is what sets her apart from the
typical country act.  Lyrically grounded in
country music, yet unafraid to think outside
the box melodically, Danika phrases things in
a way that grabs the listener and makes them
want more.
