8AM- Junior Golf Tournament - Spencer

6:00 PM -Flagfest Hike 'n Bike - start at Oneota Park -- 420 10th

bring your bikes or hike along. Treasure hunt for children;
along the trail will be music and surprises for all.

From 5 to 10 private homes will open up their gardens to the

Spencer Jaycee's will be hosting an Co-Ed Volleyball Tournament at
the sand volleyball courts in East Leach Park. Teams are to
have 6 people - entry fees are $60 per team if registered before
Sat. June 6th and $75 per team after June 6th. Registrations
forms may be found at Jake's in South Spencer or the Spencer
Chamber of Commerce. All proceedsto benefit the Shayla Bee

Sheltered Reality; a drumming group taking a chance to change this world. They are a non-profit organization and have been going now for eight years. They now have many groups in different states, such as New York,

Come join us to celebrate the completion of the one room
schoolhouse restoration project that was undertaken by the Kiwanis
Clubs of Spencer in cooperation with the Spencer Parks Dept.
This renovated one room schoolhouse was moved from Freeman
township and now sits in Riverview Park. It is intended that
it be used to preserve the area's one room schoolhouse heritage
and for use by school children to learn the environment and
history of their forefathers education. The open house will
conclude with a short dedication ceremony transferring stewardship
of the building from the Kiwanis Clubs to Spencer Parks Dept.
