The Spencer Chamber Foundation, a 501c3, was established in 2017 with the following purposes:
- To support, sponsor and fund community development activities of civic, charitable, educational and cultural organizations.
- To promote the development and activities of the Spencer Community.
- To provide non-profit services to the community, through charitable, educational, or scientific activities; and
- To promote the development of the business community of Spencer.
Projects have included assisting with the Spencer High School Crisis Fund, serving as a fiscal agent for groups to accomplish the above goals, and aiding in COVID-19 food distribution.
