Spencer YP (Young Professionals) is a group of young and middle-aged professionals organized as an entity of the Spencer Chamber of Commerce to assist in the progression of the Spencer community. Some of their past projects have included charitable fundraisers, playground enhancement projects, the Spencer Area Visioning Project, professional socials, as well as general community welcome and involvement. Over the past few years they have directed most of their attention on hosting social mixers for young professionals to meet and get to know each other. Events such as the Lunch Gig, The Chill, Trivia Night, Bags Tournament, and the Northwest Iowa Emerging Leaders Summit.

The next Lunch Gig is scheduled for NOON on Tuesday, April 21st on Faceboook Live from the Spencer Family YMCA
The Lunch Gig is a social event put on by Spencer YP to provide young professionals a chance to get together, socialize and meet others, especially for those new to town. The Lunch Gig is the third Tuesday of every month.
